View Flow
View Flow shows how Navigator handled a completed answer - useful when you want to understand the steps behind a response without reading technical logs.
Watching an answer take shape
While Navigator is working on a response, a Thinking panel streams its reasoning live above the answer, with small labeled chips (for example, searching protocol documents or checking a schedule of assessments) appearing inline at the point they actually happened. You don't have to wait for the full answer to see what Navigator is doing.
Once the answer finishes, the panel collapses to a single line - "Thought for Ns" - that you can click to re-expand and review the full reasoning at any time.
When View Flow appears
After an assistant message finishes generating, look for View Flow near the other message actions (alongside View sources, Copy, and Save).
If the button is not shown, the message may still be streaming or the response did not include flow details.
What you see
Click View Flow to open a panel on the right. It typically includes:
- Which capabilities Navigator applied to your question
- High-level steps taken while building the answer
Use this when training staff, reviewing complex medical or operational questions, or confirming that the right study collection was in scope.
