v1.1.7

Study links to the CTMS, a richer Patients page, and faster, safer chat

  • Link a study to its CTMS study - a site administrator picks the CTMS study for a collection in Manage, on the Collection Settings tab. Patients, Finance, and chat then read that study, even when the names differ.
  • Suggested match - when a site administrator creates a collection on a site with a CTMS, Navigator suggests the matching CTMS study. Nothing links until you confirm.
  • Clear warnings - Patients and Finance show a notice when a study has no link. Navigator also warns you before a new link stops another collection from reading the same CTMS study by name.
  • Safe relinking - when you change a link, Navigator marks the billing rows from the old study for review in Finance.

Patients page

  • Visit progress - the patient page lists the EDC progress of each visit, for example Entered, QC done, or Monitor reviewed. A visit that is done in the CTMS but not in the EDC shows Visit done, EDC pending. The roster shows the same status next to the next visit.
  • Queries and appointments - the patient page lists Subject queries, Appointments, and linked Source QC documents. The roster flags a subject with an Open query. A section shows only when your CTMS provides the data.
  • Complete roster - the roster no longer skips subjects past the first 40. It shows how many subjects are not checked yet and gives a Load more button for them.
  • Correct next visit - the next visit and the checklist follow the CTMS visit schedule when it differs from the Schedule of Assessments.

Source QC and the extension

  • Link a document to a subject - a Source QC document can link to a subject and a visit. Navigator suggests the link from the page header, and you click Confirm. Use Change or Clear to edit it later.
  • Easier tab choice - in Cross-check with EDC, search tabs by title or site. Click Use current tab or Refresh tabs. The EDC tab (optional) list leaves out PDF and image tabs.
  • Welcome page on install - the extension opens the Welcome page in a new tab after the first install. The side panel itself opens straight to Navigator.
  • Ask chat about the extension - ask chat what the extension does or how to open it, and Navigator answers.

Finance desk

  • Invoice headers - the Invoiceables tab groups lines under their invoice header, with the invoice number, status, and due date.
  • Payables and subject payments - the Invoiceables tab shows a Payables section. The patient detail view shows Subject payments. Each shows when your CTMS provides the data.

Chat

  • Live answers - the answer text appears while Navigator writes it, so you can start reading sooner.
  • Questions on CTMS data - where your CTMS supports it, ask chat about subject queries, study documents, invoices, and payment totals. Lookups stay in the study you selected.
  • Confirm before a schedule is replaced - chat never replaces an approved Schedule of Assessments by itself. It asks you to confirm first. A build that runs while an approval happens does not overwrite the approval.
  • Cleaner answers - numbered lists, citations, and tables in answers show in the correct order and format.
  • Tables copy with right-aligned money - when you copy a chat table into a spreadsheet or document, money columns stay right-aligned.
  • Ask a Contact fixes - the contact list matches the study of the answer. If a send fails, the panel shows Could not send. Try again.

Uploads

  • Choose who can see a file first - in the Upload panel, Who can see this? now shows right after you add files, before Next: Name Files →. Confidential is its own choice with a Members field. The next step shows a Visible to: line.
  • Upload progress for personal documents - when you add a personal document from chat, a status line above the message box shows progress, success, or the error.

Sign-in and administration

  • Reset MFA for site staff - on the Site users tab, a site administrator clicks the key icon next to a site editor, then clicks Reset MFA. The person sets up the authenticator app again at the next sign-in.
  • New link in place - if a sign-in link has expired or is used, the page offers Send a new link.

Access limits

  • Medical monitors stay in scope - medical monitors see only their assigned studies in chat, Source QC, study documents, and amendments. They cannot change clinical or finance data.
  • Sealed studies stay sealed - a user without access to a study no longer reaches it through artifacts, Source QC mentions, or chat lookups.
