Preview site and sponsor views (platform administrators)
Global administrators can temporarily work in Navigator as a site administrator or sponsor administrator to verify settings, collections, or analytics without signing in as a separate account.
Open the view switcher
In the sidebar, find Admin view (below the main navigation). It appears only for global administrators.
Choose one of:
| View | What you see |
|---|---|
| Platform admin | Full admin panel, all sites, and normal platform tools |
| Site admin | The same Site settings and collection experience a site administrator has for the selected site |
| Sponsor admin | Sponsor protocol lists and sponsor Insights, scoped to the selected sponsor |
Site admin preview
- Select Site admin in the view switcher.
- Pick the site you want to preview.
- Use Site settings, Collections, and Insights as that site’s administrator would.
Your session badge shows that you are acting as site admin for that site. Switch back to Platform admin when finished.
Sponsor admin preview
- Select Sponsor admin in the view switcher.
- Pick the sponsor organization.
- Open sponsor Insights or protocol views to confirm data looks correct for that sponsor.
Switch back to Platform admin to return to global tools.
